Care Bears: Unlock the Magic is an American animated television series produced by Cloudco Entertainment that is based on the Care Bears franchise. The series was released on Boomerang's app on January 28, 2019.

The series follows the adventures of Cheer, Grumpy, Share, Funshine, and Good Luck Bear as they embark from their life in Care-a-Lot on a new mission to protect mysterious land of the Silver Lining. Along the way, the ego-driven nemesis of the Care Bears, Bluster and the Bad Crowd, try to stop them from succeeding at their mission in favor of turning the Silver Lining into Blusterland.

Despite being a fairly recent show, unfortunately some dubs of the show went lost.

Dubs[]

Arabic[]

An Arabic dub for Care Bears: Unlock the Magic (كیربیر: أنلوك ذا ماجيك) has allegedly aired on the channel e-Junior in the United Arab Emirates. However, no clips of the dub have turned up anywhere, and as e-Junior schedules and streams are extremely hard to find as the channel is only on one provider, it is unlikely it will be found in the near future, and it's currently unknown if it still airs.

The show was given an Arabic dub title on Starzplay, along with the episodes - however, the show was only available in English. The only proof Care Bears: Unlock the Magic has aired on e-Junior is a promo, which is in English.

The show was eventually added in early 2021 to MBC's streaming service Shahid.net, with Arabic and English audio, finally proving that an Arabic dub indeed exists. However, it is locked behind a paywall. AniShalev managed to rip one episode from the service on May 13, 2022; currently, this episode is the only one that has been recorded from the service.

French (Canadian redub)[]

Although the European French version of the dub (Les Bisounours : Libérez la magie) is entirely found, the Canadian French version (Les Câlinours : Libérez la magie) is currently mostly lost. This version of the dub redubs certain parts and bits, such as names, with their Canadian equivalents. Although it still airs on the Télémagino channel, streams are hard to come across.

Only 2 episodes, of the aired 50, have been currently found. A few of the shorts have also been uploaded, but are in low quality.

Hebrew[]

The Hebrew dub of Care Bears: Unlock the Magic (דובוני אכפת לי: הקסם מתחיל) began airing on Hop! on September 1, 2019. Though it aired for a year, it wasn't recorded by anyone, and attempts to do so were futile. The show was pulled on October 31, 2020, leaving just 4 of the 49 dubbed episodes found at the time. Three episodes were made available on Hop's YouTube channel; The Birthday That Wasn't, The Badge of Courage, and Share Your Care; the first two are only available in Israel, while the last one is in a collab of other series that Hop! airs.

In 2022, AniShalev recorded all of the episodes from his VOD, leaving this dub entirely found.

Portuguese (Portugal)[]

The European Portuguese dub, Ursinhos Carinhosos: Libera a Magia, aired on Canal Panda from July 12, 2021 to April 1, 2022. Unfortunately, not every episode was archived as the dub aired. 8 episodes, along with the theme song, were uploaded to CareBearCentral, but the rest of the dub was not.

Zulu[]

The Zulu dub of Care Bears: Unlock the Magic aired on the e.tv channel in South Africa starting in September 2019. The Big Rumble and Three Cheers for Cheer were recorded on April 22, 2020; they were uploaded to the CareBearCentral YouTube channel 2 months later. Additionally, two episodes were recorded in January 2022 by jemibuni. Otherwise, no episodes of this dub have been recorded, and the show is currently off of the air as of July 2022.

Cancelled dubs[]

The series was planned to air on Boomerang in Central and Eastern Europe from September 12, 2022; however, due to the Discovery-AT&T merger, the series was removed from the schedule. All of the dubs that were produced to go alongside this were therefore shelved: this includes Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Dutch, German, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian and Slovene. Next to nothing is known about most of these dubs; what is known is scarce.

  • The air dates of the first 26 episodes (with the exception of two skipped episodes, A Yoorg Awakening and The Big Whifflesnooze).
  • The name of the series in Dutch, German, Hungarian and Polish.
  • 25 Polish episode titles, 18 German episode titles and 6 Bulgarian episode titles.
  • The Dutch voice actor of Share Bear.
